China’s interference in Indian Ocean Has Increased

Given China’s growing influence in the Indian Ocean region, India wants to increase cooperation with its neighboring allies. Recently India has assigned INS Sindhuveer to Myanmar, the first submarine in Myanmar’s naval fleet. India has also built the Sittwe port in Myanmar under the Kaladan Transport Project. This transit project will connect Kolkata to the port of Myanmar’s Sittwe and Mizoram in the northeast will also connect to it.
