Actress Kangana Ranaut was on Friday, granted relief by the Bombay High Court in her plea challenging demolition activity on her property in Bandra by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in September. Quashing the demolition order, the HC said BMC’s action smacks of malafide intention and was done to cause substantial loss to the actor. The court also said it does not approve of authorities using “muscle power” against any citizen.
