Former BSP MLC from Saharanpur Mohammad Iqbal has been accused of using shell companies to acquire seven sugar mills in UP worth Rs. 1,100 crore during 2010-11 when Mayawati was the chief minister. On Tuesday, ED attached all the mills on charges of alleged money laundering under PMLA.
