Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently released the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme during an official event in Bhildi, located in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. Under this latest nationwide rollout, a total financial assistance of ₹18,680 crores was directly transferred into the bank accounts of more than 9.34 crore eligible farming families across the country. This timely monetary support reached beneficiaries right ahead of the auspicious Diwali festival, bringing immense happiness and relief to rural households. Officials stated that farmers can easily check their individual payment status and review the newly updated village-wise beneficiary lists by logging onto the official government portal. The central government continues its ongoing efforts to provide direct income support to the agricultural community, ensuring financial stability for millions of small and marginal farmers across India through this ambitious welfare initiative.
