Tensions escalated in the national capital as heavy police deployment was witnessed outside the residence of CJP activist Abhijeet Dipke ahead of the planned Lehra Do Tiranga march at Connaught Place. Authorities have imposed Section 163 of the BNSS, and Central Park has been completely closed off to prevent unauthorized gatherings. The march has been called to protest the recent arrests of citizens who were waving the national flag, specifically targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and other officials. Despite the strict surveillance and the threat of detention, Dipke maintained a defiant stance, stating he is fully prepared to court arrest. Police forces remain stationed at key locations across the area to maintain law and order and prevent any potential escalation.
