Mumbai Police have registered an FIR against 25 prominent political leaders, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amit Thackeray, following an unauthorized protest. The demonstration took place outside the Shivaji Park police station to oppose the detention of activists who were protesting against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Authorities stated that the accused leaders face serious charges related to unlawful assembly and violation of public safety regulations.
