CJP's Anti-SIR Protest in Kochi: Big Setback for Abhijeet Dipke I Dr. Manish Kumar | Capital TV
The Cockroach Janata Party is organizing a major demonstration at Rajendra Maidan in Kochi, Kerala, to demand the complete withdrawal of the Election Commission of India's Special Intensive Revision. Scheduled for four in the evening on the occasion of Narak Chaturdasi, this agitation mirrors a similar protest previously held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The political event is being spearheaded by prominent party figures, including founder Abhijeet Deepak, national leader Afreen Nawaz, and South India in-charge Vijay Reddy Mallangi. Organizers promoted the event extensively through social media, billing it as a southern iteration of their capital protest. This grassroots mobilization aims to draw significant public attention to electoral roll revision concerns in the southern state, posing a major political challenge for local authorities as leaders gather to voice their strong opposition.
