The Nainital district administration has launched a programme of installing the nameplates with Aipan designs in front of the houses of local residents with their daughter’s names under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhaon campaign. These nameplates are currently being designed by the women of various Self Help Groups (SHGs) who have been trained in drawing Aipan art forms on various objects in Naina Devi Growth Centre.
